I'm really looking forward to the opening event of the Flatpack Festival, a live scored silent film from 1927 directed by F. W. Murnau called Sunrise, screening at St Martins church in Birmingham. The film will be accompanied by Alcyona Mick on piano, Jon Wygens on guitar and Geoff Hannan on violin.

I've only ever seen Sunrise on a tiny telly, it sounds really great, as does Flatpack. I hope I can go to it another year. x
ps The Eyeful of Sound screening in Vienna went down really really well.

Hey Sam, that's great! They are 3 of the composers from the NFTS. Jon Wygens is going to compose the score for my graduation film :)

Hope you enjoy the film and Flatpack is loads of fun!

Hi Samantha, A very interesting subject. I wonder if you'd be interested in submitting your film to an international film festival for women directors. Details can be found here:http://www.filmdirecting4women.co.uk/film-festival/
